Poway is located just east of Interstate 15, about twenty miles north east of San Diego.  Poway is often referred to as "The City in the Country".

steam locomotivesThe Poway Center for the Performing Arts host professional and community entertainment.   The Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, a pristine canyon set aside for wildlife by the State Department of Fish and Game.  Lake Poway & Clyde E. Rexrode Wilderness area, stocked for fishing, the 50 acre lake features sailing, boating, play areas, picnic grounds and trails.
